About Me

I’m a natural light photographer currently based in Kansas City, KS! I was born and raised in Ohio, and I’ve also lived in the beautiful state of Hawaii on the island of Oahu before moving back to Kansas City in 2025.

I’m a lover of Christ, family, dance, adventure, traveling, and all things sour—candy that is. My friends often recruit me to be the “camera girl” or that friend who always gets the angles for an Instagram-worthy post.

In 2018, I turned this hobby into Alexis Gian Photography. Photography gives me the freedom to document detailed, intentional shots—especially for brands. I genuinely love brand photography because it captures identity, story, and the vision behind what you’re building. I also have a new love for interior design photography, and I love how spaces tell a story through light, layout, and style.

And even with all that brand and interior love, I still absolutely adore portrait sessions—family moments and milestones that mark real life. That includes families, couples, maternity, and graduation portraits, because those are the memories you don’t want to just live through—you want to keep.

To me, photographs bring back the feels, the emotions, and the memories of that exact moment in time. That’s my mission: to be part of your journey and help you create and capture timeless moments you look back on and say, “... that happened!”
